The handling of the waitresses with the guests is a cheek: At first they were the only guests, were not welcomed and directly labeled as a "certain clientele", which also didn't change anymore.

Service was quite rude. Came with our high school revival squad and were put straight into a drawer. Wine was delicious

Tables were still free, people were still sent away. Older gentlemen could sit at the not reserved table. Too bad, you see more and more often in Germany. Service not really friendly. We leave the money elsewhere. 3/5 Quality is ok, service underground. After a long hike very annoying.

At the winery Peter Bahles we came across the Kaub Tourist Office, which has proposed to us the winery. We were looking for a dog-friendly accommodation in Kaub, where we could spend a night on our Rheinsteig hike - and this was through the usual booking portals very difficult. The Winery Bahles has been in every respect a direct hit: We were taken with dog walkers (although our fur nose is really a showcase in terms of behavior, that already played an important role ;-)), any pre-email contacts were answered very nice and accommodating when we finally arrived after our long walk in the evening We are greeted personally in front of the door. All the staff were very friendly, the food really tasty, and the wine - mmmmh! But we had already expected that when we walked past the vines of the winery half an hour before ;-) The stay was simply uncomplicated and easy. It felt very well cared for, and our double room was very spacious. In this review is always the word "very" before ... but I can also recommend the Winery Bahles VERY VERY!

After a great hike (Kaub - St. Goarshausen 25km) and the subsequent train ride we found a great stop here. We had a delicious meal that was only exceeded by the served wine. The coronation was the Hefebrand, highly recommended. We were served very friendly and experienced a very nice evening! Thank you dear team!

Great service, local wine. Brandy is not very. It opens in the afternoon.

Beautiful view of the Pfalzgrafenstein from the vine-covered terrace. Tasty wines, good, simple cuisine, super nice host. On the menu you will learn a lot about the history of Kaub and among other things the Free State bottleneck. Highly recommended!

Very friendly service, good wine and good home cooking. Everything at reasonable prices. Very nice atmosphere. The proximity to the railway line knows before. I will come back anyway. The operator (in 4th generation) is deeply rooted in the village and can tell a lot of local from the rich history of the place. Very interesting!
